Dr. Asha is a Creator of Healthy Conversations. Through empowering books, articles, and spoken messages, she teaches the busy and overwhelmed how to live life abundantly. Dr. Asha is from Tallahassee, FL, where she attended Florida State University.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, and she was named 2007 Homecoming Queen, among other accolades. She matriculated to Parker University in Dallas, TX, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She holds additional certifications in sports medicine, healthy lifestyle coaching, success coaching, and event management. Additionally, Dr. Asha is an inspirational writer and speaker who is passionate about helping ambitious women thrive. She is a contributing writer for Tallahassee Woman Magazine and the Tallahassee Democrat newspaper, and she is the former host of “Temple Fit with Dr. Asha,” which aired on Cumulus Broadcasting’s Heaven 98.3 FM. Her book Eat, Drink, Do explores self-care through faith-based principles. Her latest book Overflow discusses strategies for beating burnout, and it will be released Winter 2020. Dr. Asha is the founding director of The Temple Fit Company and its faith-based health nonprofit organization Temple Fit Health, Inc. Comprised of over 25 wellness speakers and fitness instructors, the Temple Fit Team specializes in six wellness areas: physical, spiritual, career and financial, emotional and mental, social, and intellectual wellness. The Team has trained individuals and organizations at conferences, churches, and universities stateside and abroad. The nonprofit arm is known for its annual women’s wellness conference, which hosts conversations on self and health empowerment for women, aptly titled “SHE Tea.”
